Your practitioner will explain what they are doing throughout the treatment. You will have to lie or sit down and may have to remove part of your clothing so the practitioner can reach the acupuncture point.
Acupuncture needles are very fine and the practitioners are experienced in inserting them so they do not cause pain. You may experience mild tingling or a dull ache during treatment.
There are specific points on the body called Acupuncture points where the practitioner will insert the needle based on your condition. Several needles can be inserted during a treatment and will be left in place for up to 30 minutes to have maximum effect.
