Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain may arise from the shoulder joint itself or from the surrounding structures (muscles, ligaments and tendons). The shoulder is really several joints that combine with tendons and muscles to allow a wide range of motion in the arm.  This includes the acromioclavicular joint known as the AC joint.

Conditions Causing Shoulder Pain

Most shoulder problems fall into four categories: capsulitis (frozen shoulder), impingement (tendonitis, bursitis, rotator cuff tear), arthritis (wear and tear) and acromioclavicular joint problems (arthritis or injury).

Blackberry Clinic receives glowing feedback!

I attended with severe neck and shoulder pain which was causing dizziness and extreme pain and had been off work for 9 weeks. After just 2 consultations I was able to return to work and manage the symptoms. She even wrote to my doctor with her concerns which prompted them to carry out further tests . 3 months on and my life so much better. Would highly recommend the Blackberry Clinic to anyone ! Thank you

Osteopath Patient

Thank you for the physio treatment you have given me over the last few months for my frozen shoulder and bursitis. I am now on no pain relief with a pain score of about 1/10 and that’s because of the ongoing strengthening exercises I am undertaking.

You have been patient, have excellent listening skills and clearly explain the process on getting me better. You reiterated to exercise in a pain free way and I didn’t believe I could be as well as I am today even though I know I have a long term plan for recovery.

Ilqua’s physio put me on the right path to recovery!

Osteopathy-Patient

Just wanted to say please pass my thanks to my osteopath, I came yesterday with terrible back and shoulder pain and today I am pain free, am well delighted as had a day planned with friends was worried I wouldn’t enjoy, please pass my thanks onto her.

Osteopath Patient

After 3 sessions am very please with my outcome as I have no further pain in my shoulders and neck area. Ilqua has been fantastic helping me with the various exercises that I needed to do daily to stop the pain from reoccurring. I would highly recommend Ilqua as a Physiotherapist she has done a great job helping to reduce my pain..
