Treatment for acute and chronic sports injuries, arthritis, soft tissue injuries and exercise medicine consultations
The physiotherapist will look at the alignment of structures, your muscle strength and weakness than can lead to poor adaptation of forces when you are weight bearing in sitting, standing or walking. These adaptations with time can create pain and muscle/ joint compensations that can lead to injuries, weakness and poor alignment and balance.
The initial assessment is a 1-hour consultation with a physiotherapist which will consist of:
After having the assessment, you will receive a copy of the tests and plan discussed. We also offer to continue with MSK and physiotherapy services if you would like to continue with the treatment to correct these issues.

Here at the Blackberry Clinic our physiotherapist can help train your body to learn to move again in a way it is more efficient. The Biomechanical Assessment is focused towards the client’s needs and adapts towards the client’s own goals. You may be aiming to improve your posture / ergonomics at work, injury prevention, rehabilitation, foot orthotics prescription or improvement of performance in a specific activity. Our physio can guide you with education, manual therapy, dry needling, gait retraining, footwear advise and exercise.
As part of the rehabilitation program, our Chartered Physiotherapist is a Phits Certified Expert that can analyse the footscan data and design your insoles, which are custom 3D printed foot orthotics that help with the rehabilitation process (see Blackberry clinic / Phits website).
After having the assessment, you will receive a copy of the physio assessment which involves: posture and physical tests. You will also receive a footscan report looking at the data and gait analysis. The physiotherapist will discuss the findings and advise of further rehabilitation plan, design of Phits – Custom 3D printed insoles. If further referral to a specialist is needed, we can refer to one of our Blackberry clinic MSK specialists on the field or to other healthcare professional needed.
