At Blackberry Clinic London, situated in Marylebone, we have two experienced consultants who are experts in joint pain, back pain, arthritis and all musculoskeletal conditions.
The clinic offers consultations with Dr Matteo Bernardotto who is a Sport and Exercise medicine consultant and specialises in all aspects of musculoskeletal pain, back pain and sports related injuries. Dr Bernardotto offers caudal epidurals and facet joint injections under ultrasound guidance and also offers peripheral prolotherapy as well as other joint injections and sports injury treatments.
We also have Mr Nikos Reissis, an experienced musculoskeletal doctor who offers a full assessment and treatment of orthopaedic joint problems and arthritis using non-surgical techniques. The combination of these two consultants provides a very rounded and integrated approach to non-surgical musculoskeletal disorders. We are offering consultations, ultrasound scanning and referrals for MRI scans and x-rays to make an accurate diagnosis. The consequent treatments may involve joint and soft tissue injections along with shockwave therapy. There is a minimal waiting list and treatment can often be offered on the same day if appropriate.
The clinic is open on Tuesdays from 26th July and currently there is no waiting list. You may be able to have treatment on the same day as your consultation, if this is appropriate. Both doctors treat joint pain, back pain, sports injuries and arthritis, frozen shoulder, achilles tendinopathy, knee pain and knee arthritis and other conditions affecting the back, muscles and joints. They offer a range of injections (click on injections for more information) including steroid injections, tennis elbow injections, trigger point injections etc. In addition, they can treat you with shockwave ultrasound therapy which is very effective for conditions such as plantar fasciitis.
