We are looking forward to supporting Hammerheads Rugby Sevens teams at Aldershot this Saturday 25th June. The Hammerheads Women’s team have had a fantastic season and are well poised high up the table to bring home some silver from the Super Sevens Series final. Hammerheads have also got a women’s team in the Army Invitational competition that day and the men are playing too.
Last weekend at the Olney Sevens, both the Hammerhead Women’s and Men’s teams walked off victorious as tournament winners. This was the first time the men had won this competition, although the women had been successful several times in the past.

Blackberry Clinic have supported Hammerheads since the start. Hammerheads teams have now been going for 10 years, under the dedicated care of Jim Osborn (former captain of Olney RFC) who has personally built the team from the bottom upwards. Oli Petrides (General Manager MK and Business Development) was one of the original Hammerheads, until other rugby playing commitments got in the way. We happily provide some sponsorship funds and for some years we were able to supply yards of strapping and physios who always enjoyed the day out and the camaraderie of the occasion.
We are looking forward to a fantastic day of rugby and fingers crossed for lots of luck and no injuries! Go Hammerheads!
At Blackberry Clinic we treat sports injuries in elite athletes and non professional sports players. Acute or chronic injuries can be diagnosed and treatment can vary from physio to referral to one of the sports and exercise medicine or MSK doctors for more specialised treatment such as joint injections or soft tissue injections. They offer ultrasound diagnosis for accuracy.
If you are suffering from a sports injury don’t assume it will heal itself! Book in to see one of our practitioners and get yourself back to your favourite sport in a much shorter time!
