The delegation included Dr Bhavesh Kumar ( Blackberry Clinic – Milton Keynes), Dr Kai Win ( Blackberry Clinic – Lichfield), Dr Vinay Ketkar (Blackberry Clinic – Lichfield), and Dr Clodagh Dugdale (Blackberry Clinic – Ipswich)
There were over 30 lectures and seminars, including workshops, all dedicated to the successful use of hypertonic dextrose injections in ‘Regenerative Medicine’ techniques such that joint instability and ligamentous laxity can be treated easily, safely and cost-effectively in an outpatient setting.
Some of the images show the lectures and workshops which were held in the Budapest University anatomy department.
Many thanks to the Pain School International for hosting such a wonderful conference with a delightful team of experienced American and Hungarian practitioners of prolotherapy.
It was particularly interesting to meet a varied group of motivated pain physicians, musculoskeletal practitioners and neurosurgeons who have realised the benefits of prolotherapy in managing musculoskeletal pain.
At Blackberry Clinic we hope to be running more Blackberry Education spinal injection courses soon incorporating prolotherapy techniques.
Prolotherapy has evolved in a slightly different format in the UK and carefully selected techniques may be beneficial in optimising management of musculoskeletal pain which is the leading cause of disability in the world.
