24th April, 2012: We are proud to announce that following the recent annual general meeting, our clinic director Dr Simon Petrides, has been appointed Vice President of the British Institute of Musculoskeletal Medicine. This highlights the involvement of Dr Petrides and the Blackberry Clinic in encouraging the recognition of Musculoskeletal Medicine as making an important contribution to management of Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries in the NHS interface clinics and in the private setting.
Dr Petrides is also involved nationally in assisting the General Medical Council in a pilot project which is exploring the possiblity of ‘credentialling’ medical practitioners who are providing musculoskeletal services.
