Our business development manager, Oli Petrides, and our compliance officer, Luke Owen, have been working this new venture and we are delighted to say that the renovation is complete, the clinic is fully equipped and the CQC is undertaking full inspection this month. We are very pleased to have some of our Pain Medicine Consultants and Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultants and Musculoskeletal and Sports Physicians ready to see pain clinic patients at Blackberry Clinic Birmingham.
Amongst these are Dr Kai Win from Blackberry Clinic Lichfield and Dr Udaya Chakka, Dr Meera Tewani, Dr Shyam Balasubramanian and Dr Vinay Ketkar from Blackberry Clinic Milton Keynes. We will also be welcoming some more doctors and will keep you updated.
Our new pain clinic has a fluoroscopy theatre and ultrasound machine for x ray and ultrasound guided spinal injections including epidurals, caudal epidurals, nerve root blocks, facet joint injections and SI joint injections. Our doctors are used to treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions such as prolapsed (slipped) disc, arthritis and nerve root irritation caused by a number of factors. For peripheral joints such as the knee, severe pain can also be very debilitating and sometimes knee genicular nerve radiofrequency may provide significant relief if appropriate.
The clinic is conveniently located on the outskirts of Birmingham in Walsall, with a large car park and disabled access.
