What are Phits orthotics?

phits-orthotics-email

Phits is the worlds first high tech 3D printed insole, specifically designed based on your dynamic gait analysis using RS scan Foot Scan. Phits 3D printed insoles offer optimal efficiency, superior stability and extreme durability whilst having minimal bulk and being lightweight.

Orthotics can support the foot and reduce inflammation. Very high arches can stress muscles in the feet and lead to a number of conditions, such as shin splints, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis. Orthotics can help prevent a person’s feet from rolling excessively inward or outward.

We are delighted to be able to offer Phits™ 3D print custom orthotics at Blackberry Clinic Milton Keynes. Our expert Phits™ certified practitioners, Shelley Terry and Milly Dalton, use Footscan ®  technology to analyse the biomechanics of your feet during a dynamic gait assessment.  The results from the scan and biomechanical assessment are then used to design and custom make personalised orthotics which are 3D printed to fit your requirements exactly.

At Blackberry Clinic we believe that Phits ™ 3D print custom orthotics are the most specific and bespoke orthotics available. The orthotics are designed to suit your gait pattern, rather than a static measurement or static foot position such as in traditional cast orthotics.

There are other types of orthotics available. Our experienced practitioners may decide that ‘off the shelf’ orthotics are suitable for you and this is something that can be discussed in your initial consultation. Orthotics can be very effective when prescribed and used properly, but they are not the solution to every cause of foot or heel pain out there. Some cases require other forms of treatment, such as rest or physical therapy. Orthotics might even be recommended in addition to other treatments for best results.
