WITH RESPECT WE HAVE MADE CHANGES TO OUR CANCELLATION AND DNA POLICY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
Due to an increasing number of non attended appointments and cancellations, we have reluctantly decided to implement a charge for non attended appointments and for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. If you need to cancel due to illness or other situation you will have the opportunity to re book at a later date with no re booking charge. This policy is because we have a significant number of cancelled and unattended appointments per month. Wasted appointments may mean that another patient who needs an appointment is unable to book in due to limited availability.We deal with non-attendance proactively so that our services can continue effectively.
We respectfully request that if you need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment in the future, you kindly let us know at least 24 hours in advance as per our DNA policy. Your appointment can then be given to someone else and a new one offered to you as needed.
Should you fail to attend another appointment without giving 24 hours’ notice, then we will have no alternative but to charge you the full amount of your missed appointment.
We have a text message reminder that goes out 48 hours in advance so please make sure we have the correct mobile number so you can make use of this service.
