Dr Simon Petrides: Medical Officer, London Olympics 2012

The Blackberry Clinic is proud to announce that Dr Simon Petrides has been appointed as Sports Medicine Medical Officer at the London Olympic Games 2012.

It is a great honour for the Blackberry Clinic to have our medical director involved in the most prestigous sporting event in the world. It acts as confirmation that the Clinic is at the forefront of specialist provision of sports and musculoskeletal services to its patients.

Doctor Petrides is regularly referred elite athletes from all disciplines for assessment and treatment for a range of conditions which are affecting the athlete’s performance in their chosen sport.

Selection as Medical Officer for the Olympic Games is an acknowledgement of his specialist status and the high regard in which he is held by his peers in the Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine community.
