portrait-nikhil-tanejaNikhil Taneja trained as a Physiotherapist at the University of Otago, Dunedin in New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. Initially working for the Waikato District Health Board, he progressed to private practice in 2003 in Hamilton and Auckland.

Further qualifications in the form of a Postgraduate Diploma in Western Acupuncture in 2006 from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) ensured a valuable addition to the manual therapy skill set. He is currently working towards an MSc in Manual Therapy (MACP accredited) degree at Coventry University in addition to working at the clinic.

Nikhil's main interest is in the treatment of sports and spinal injuries. Previous involvements in a Physiotherapy capacity include:

Treatments are based on Pilates principles of rehabilitation for spinal problems (necks and backs), along with acupuncture, mobilisation, manipulation and manual therapy. You will receive a comprehensive exercise plan for self-management in your environment along with an idea of what your treatment at our Clinic will entail. All patients, with or without insurance, are welcome!
