'iPad neck'

27th January, 2012: A recent article in the Daily Mail (27/1/2012) has highlighted the problem of 'iPad neck'. This is increasingly encountered in the Blackberry Clinic and is due to the low positioning of the iPad on the lap or desk. It is caused by a postural overstrain of ligaments, muscles and discs in the neck and can be debilitating.

UK SEM Congress, ExCel London

25th November, 2011: Dr Simon Petrides and Dr Tom Saw have just returned from the annual UK SEM Congress, the largest Sports and Exercise Medicine conference in Europe. This three day event was held at ExCel London from 23rd November, and was attended by approximately 800 delegates.

Ferdinand and Vidic attend Blackberry Clinic

25th November, 2011: England defender Rio Ferdinand and his Manchester United teammate Nemanja Vidic have been visiting the Blackberry Clinic, a specialist sports clinic based in Milton Keynes, in a bid to save their top level football careers.
