Chiropractic Awareness Week 2012 - 15th-21st April

15th April, 2012: Chiropractic Awareness week this year runs from 15th – 21st April and focuses on the back perils of parenting.

The British Chiropractic Association recently commissioned research showing that 79%* of the UK population has suffered from back and/or neck pain at some point in their lives – 61%* of those being parents. The research by the British Chiropractic Association also shows that over half (55%*) of parents' back or neck pain has prevented them from lifting or carrying their child.

Spinal Injections in the News

19th March, 2013: A recent article in the Daily Mail explains why many surgeons are now recommending spinal injections as a first port of call for disc pain patients.

Around eight in ten Britons will suffer back pain at some time, with many of them having a slipped disc. Each year thousands undergo surgery to treat the problem, however steroid injections can be a less invasive solution.

Blackberry Education Injection Course

12th October, 2012. The first Blackberry Education Injection Course finished as a huge success. These courses were created by Dr Tom Saw and Dr Simon Petrides to teach injection skills under x-ray guidance. An international selection of sports and exercise physicians and consultants from 6 different countries spent 2 days at the Blackberry Clinic in Milton Keynes honing their skills.
