Blackberry at the Olympics

25th June, 2012: The Blackberry Clinic is proud to have representatives help make history by working at the London 2012 Olympics. Dr Simon Petrides, Practice Nurse Alice Church and Physiotherapist Louise Allison have been selected to work in various roles at the Olympic Games.

Alice has been selected to work  at the Eton Dorney Venue where the rowing and canoeing will be taking place. Her role will be primarily with disabled spectators, ensuring that they are able to enjoy the games fully. She is thrilled to have been chosen to work at this amazing event.

Dr Petrides has been appointed as Sports Medicine Medical Officer and Louise is working as a Sports Physiotherapist. They are both based in the Polyclinic in the athletes village. Olympic athletes from different sports will come to the Polyclinic for their treatment and rehabiliation needs. Louise is particuarly excited to work with elite athletes from all around the world with injuries that are likely to be complex and challenging. She is looking forward to keeping them fit for competition and winning medals.
