Pilates Classes

PILATES is a floor-based class that focuses on improving flexibility, strength and muscle tone. The movements are slow, controlled and fluid with an emphasis on mind and body awareness. The objective of PILATES is to teach correct breathing and movement techniques to improve posture as well as abdominal and spinal control.

An exercise class to suit people of all ages and abilities. A relaxing way to strengthen the lower back, mind and body. Originally developed for dancers in the 1920's, this unique discipline for holistic strength and flexibility has grown into an innovative and popular exercise class. PILATES is wholly recommended by osteopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors and can provide long term relief from lower back pain.
