Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer

Kia completed her Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer NVQ in June 2009 and in the same month joined the Blackberry Gymnasium. Very quickly, Kia developed her skills and confidence. She now inducts and personal trains clients on a regular basis and personal training is an aspect of the job she really enjoys:

"Working closely with people to help them reach their personal fitness goals is very rewarding, both for myself as the trainer but also for the clients themselves."

Kia now teaches the Circuit Training class on a Tuesday evening which she loves. The variety of exercises and short rest periods really do produce a great workout which the attendees seem to enjoy and endure every Tuesday. Kia also covers the Boxercise when needed and occasionally the Stretch and Tone class which is a gentle toning class requiring a more subtle approach.

Outside of work, Kia enjoys long-distance running, training in the gym, football and swimming:
